Today as Luke was eating a chocolate chip muffie for breakfast, he discovered an extra ingredient in the muffie. He’s been waiting for this moment for a couple days, and after an initial bit of concern at the reality of it, he regained his excitement and proudly told his teacher today.

Also this month Luke has begun reading chapter books!   As you will see, he is very excited, and we are very proud of him.  See him in action:

There is nothing like winter in Northern Wisconsin at Nana and Pops Lake House. We had a wonderful time and did a lot of sledding. Here are some fun pictures!

Luke LOVED sledding this year. He was fearless and was trying lots of different ways to get the sled to go faster. It was super fun to see him enjoy it so much and be so confident.

We are incredibly blessed with wonderful extended family, and we could not wait to introduce Brendan to each of them.  We are extremely excited to watch the relationships he has with each of them grow and develop as he gets older.  Thank you all for the roles you play in our lives and have played already in Brendan’s.
